Global Doing Democracy Research Project
The Rosario (Argentina) Conference on Deepening Democracy as a Way of Life was a huge success – both in general but especially for our Global Doing Democracy Research Project. Five members of our Project presented papers to a very interested and engaged audience over a period of 3 hours.
A highlight of this Round Table was a live internet presentation by Paul Carr from Montreal via Skype. We should keep this form of presentation in mind for future conferences where you may not be able to travel but wish to present as part of our Research Project. As a result of our discussions and networking we have made contact with many significant researchers who are highly interested in our Project.
The papers and presentations from our Round Table as well as videos and photos are featured on our website.
In planning for the conference we prepared a Spanish & English colour flyer to publicise our Research Project. This was distributed to all conference participants. At the Plenum Daniel Schugarensky highlighted our Research project and over 50 delegates took our invitation to join.
